On July 11th, 2026, Colton Engelbrecht totaled 1,225 kg (2,700.7 lb) raw at the Nikolai Kagansky Memorial Cup in Moscow. He squatted 455 kg, benched 277.5 kg, and deadlifted 492.5 kg for a 693.75 DOTS score.
The performance set the all-time raw total record and the highest male DOTS score ever recorded in competition. Colton has also held the highest raw total in the 110 kg, 125 kg, and 140 kg classes.
His incredible rise in the sport of powerlifting has been due, in large part, to his unwavering commitment to improving himself and reaching his maximum potential.

Limit Breaker V2
The first Limit Breaker release debuted in Sumo Sole Gen 4. Due to the incredible popularity of V1, we knew we had to run it back bigger and better than the first time.
For V2, we applied Colton's color choices of black, white, red, and smoke grey with bushido-inspired design to three current models: Sumo Sole Gen 5, Radix Pro, and Ronin Lifters.
Each shoe features a custom designed color palette, and includes a new NL Limit Breaker crest, as well as graphics inspired by Japanese yoroi (armor) and tsuka-ito (traditional cord wrap on a katana). Colton himself is heavily inspired by Japanese culture and Bushido.

Sumo Sole Gen 5
Sumo Sole Gen 5 is a zero-drop training slipper with a wide EE toe box, dual-strap lockdown, and a 3.8mm sole. Novus™ 3.0 Griptech provides 15% more grip and 10% greater durability than the original Novus compound. Laser-cut knit ventilation and a TPU heel counter keep the upper light while adding structure where it is needed. Available in black and white.

02 · Barefoot trainer
Radix Pro
Radix Pro is a 3.3mm zero-drop training shoe for squats, deadlifts, bench, accessories, and dynamic training. The wide EE toe box, extended sole flanges, and raised lateral walls create a wider base under load. A dual-layer upper combines a soft Lycra liner with a durable outer mesh.

03 · Heeled squat shoe
Ronin Lifters
Ronin Lifters are designed for squats and presses. The 20mm heel helps compensate for limited ankle dorsiflexion, making it easier to reach depth and maintain an upright torso. A wide E toe box, non-compressible platform, reinforced heel counter, and Novus™ 2.0 outsole provide a stable base under load.

Choose Sumo Sole Gen 5 for our most popular slipper option, Radix Pro for a zero-drop shoe that can cover a full training session, or Ronin Lifters when heel elevation is beneficial for squats and presses. All three models feature the Limit Breaker V2 artwork developed in collaboration with Colton Engelbrecht.
